For sale is a very nice JAHRESUHREN FABRIK, Germany mantle clock from the late 1950s. These were commonly known as \'Novelty\' or \'Anniversary\' clocks, and many were produced as gifts to wives on the occasion of marriage milestones.
We can not vouch for operation of the clock. We\'ve sold others of similar function however and by comparison this one appears to be in very, VERY good condition. In the hands of a good clock repair person in combination with oil of the correct viscosity, we don\'t see any reason why this clock can\'t be calibrated and set to run on another mantle for years to come. The clock is being sold AS IS with no guarantee of operation. The buyer should consider the possibility of having it inspected, maintained and/or repaired by a qualified repairperson. It likely, originally had a glass dome but it is no longer present. It does have it\'s long-neck original hiding key.
