Kundo Brass Skeleton Mantle Clock Electronic Kieninger & Obergfell Germany Works:
$59.99

Working vintage Kundo W. Germany brass skeleton mantle clock, with a battery operated pendulum jeweled movement. This item was found at a local church fundraiser and appears that it may have been a retirement clock, because there is a spot on the top of the brass case where a plaque may have been removed( not tarnished). There was no battery in the bottom when I found it, there was a little tarnish on the battery contacts. I cleaned the contacts and put a new “c” cell battery in it and pushed the pendulum to start it, and it is running fine, keeping time accurately. It is important that it sits level for the pendulum to move properly, there are adjustable feet underneath for that purpose. Cosmetically, the brass does show some age tarnish, the glass panels looks good, the dial and hands look fine, maybe a little wear to the top edge of the metal face. It is a very pretty clock. It strictly keeps time only, no chimes. There is an adjustment on the pendulum bob for setting the clock for fast/slow. Also(VERY IMPORTANT) the pendulum has a locking screw for securing the pendulum for transport, which I will set...the winning buyer must loosen this screw carefully to release the pendulum before using( see pic ). In order to open the top cover, you have to open the 2 side levers on the base ( see pic)
