This old visible gas pump had stood in front of our cabinet shop for many, many years, and was pretty much a landmark in this community.. ButHurricaneRita of 2005 came thru and it got knocked over.. We brought it in and did some repairs on it, replaced the cylinder with a new acrylic one, a new wire screen to protect it, another hose and nozzle, (which we think are also vintage), thepipe inside the cylinder is just a plumbing pipe however, and we replaced the Red Crown globe.. We\'ve had the globe for many years, and the guy we got it from swore it was original, but we can\'t say that for sure, we don\'teven know how to tell the difference. While it was in the shop taken apart, we sanded and thoroughly cleaned the insideof the pump, and coated it with rust preventive \"Ospho\" to stop any future rusting.., We liked the way the outside looked with the old patina, and left it alone. Also, there is no actual pump mechanism in the base, so that makes the pump a lot lighter than it would have been, and we don\'t have it, or ever had it. We put in a red bulb for the Red Crown globe, and a remote controlled color changing LED light for the cylinder.. It displays very well in the shop, please watch the enclosed YouTube video (the mechanical man doesn\'t go with the pump) Anyway, it is what it is, so if you buy it, don\'t be gripping at us when your woman chastises you for spending hard earned money on whatwill surely look like junk to her.This sale is for the 48 contiguous (adjoining)States of the United States of America ONLY !
