Sixis S1101 Instrument Watch Maker Milling Machine 3 Axis DRO 1984 DOM!! Extras! Late model Sixis Swiss instrument makers universal milling machine. Machine can be used as vertical or horizontal mill. Changeover takes only a minute. Came out of a National Lab. Very little used, a few hours at most. Almost zero backlash in all three axis. Spindle bearings replaced with new Fafnir Timken 2MM9105.WI.CR.DUL Super Precision Bearings (7005 CDP4A/DGA) in 2013. Modern electrical box. 6 speed geared spindle, 125-4000 RPM. (No quick travel levers pictured but I will include (2) made of 1\" aluminum plate on my CNC mill for the buyer). Unit is bolted to a heavy duty plastic pallet for ease of moving around the shop. Closest machine is the Aciera F1, but the Sixis is more rigid and equal or better quality. Also includes:
