This swing analyzer fastens securely on the grip and does not affect my swing. In fact, you will hardly even notice it is there. I am not a certified golf professional, but the fact that you get data from all the key swing metrics in real time is something that should be useful for you and a club pro to review for swing improvement. I wish it could also be used on the putter. The data or the numbers that you get may be a little complicated for some new golfers at first. However, data interpretation should become easier with continued use. I have an iPhone and have had no glitches with the IOS App. I highly recommend this product.
