Got the Cleveland TA7 irons for my daughters boyfriend who wants to play golf. He is a good athlete so I got him some irons that are easy to hit but also have play-ability. The TA7 have always been a great irons. I hit them myself and they hit very soft and accurate . Must be the vibration system in the shaft. These are are great irons and always will be a good used set to pick-up even though the clubs are older models, they play like the newer Pings !

I like to start my reviews this way. I you are writing about a seller, DON'T DO IT HERE! This is supposed to be a PRODUCT review. First of all, when one sells a product (e.g., golf club) sellers want you to know how good the PRODUCT is. If you want to say something about a seller, GO TO FEEDBACK. That's what it is for. Now for the review (of the product). The Clevland TA7 irons are a fairly good bet for the high handicapper depending on the shaft and flex on the clubs. Many new golfers make the mistake of too stiffly flexed clubs. My recomendation is to use regular flex if you are new to golf and swing SLOW! SLOW! SLOW! After you learn how to swing, you should only then progress to the neext level. Most new golfers think they are going to be the next Tiger. You will never even come close if you don't first learn how to swing the club. As I previously stated, swing SLOW! Distance should come at a later point. I started out with these clubs and learned the game. That is what many golfers should do. Start out with a set of clubs that are easy hitting and hire an instructor. After lowering my handicap to the single digits, I have changed to Wilson Staff Pi5 clubs with Royal Precision Rifle Flighted shafts 6.5 flex fitted to me, along with having the lie adjusted to my swing.Read full review
Let me begin by saying I really like these clubs. I've now played 20 rounds with them so I think I've finally got the hang of them. I've been really able to increase my accuracy. My problem stems from everyone stating that they've gained distance with these clubs. Not true with me, in fact I've lost at least a half club with each and every iron. I played Pings, Taylor Made and most recently Adams for years and these sets of irons went approximately the same distance. Consequently I've had to re-examine my entire iron game and set make-up in order to compensate for this lack of distance. 5-10 yards per club certainly makes a difference so I just wanted to add this to all the reviews because it seems like everyone says these are long...they are not...but they are deadly accurate and I like them very much.Read full review
I decided to start to play golf again, I was limited to movement due to a feet problems. I have a set of Tommy Armour 855's regular flex, but I am sixty four and not playing for five years I found a used Set of Cleveland TA 7 Senior clubs. They were played alot, but were in fair shape. I found out that these clubs hit so well, but the shaft was just a little whippy but for 43.00 who can complain. So I bought a set of Taylor Made Burner 2.0 Senior Irons and a Driver. Played nine holes came home and sent them back. I hit one shot a little in the toe and the Gunmetal finish came off. And they were shorter and never had that feel if you hit them in the middle like the TA 7 have. A couple months I found a Set of TA 7 Gunmetal clubs from a place called 3 Balls Golf on Ebay. They are Uniflex steel shafts but they rated them 8 out 10, when I got them they looked almost brand new and for 123.00 I was super pleased. My only concern was the shaft when you read on uniflex steel shaft one munufacter says they are between shift and regular flex. others say regular to senior flex all I know I cant tell the difference they seem longer than the graphite shafted clubs and they fell so good. Recently I purchased a used putter and a Ceveland driver from the same company and I love the driver and when I hit it straight it goes. I would buy another set of these clubs and time they play great and feel great and they give you confidence.Read full review
The Cleveland Ta7's are the best irons I've ever hit. And I have hit a bunch of clubs at "demo days". Their very well balanced and not near as heavy as most cavity backs. In fact, I think of them more as a semi-cavity back because of how much lighter they are compared to other irons. I just got my set and am having to re-asses my yardage on my home course because they carry the ball a 8 to 10 yards farther than my former set of Nike Ignites. I absolutely love the feel of these clubs. I am a mid 80's player and hope to go even lower with these irons.
