This is an excellent hybrid. Trajectory is nice and high, but not so high that you can take a drink and wait for it to land. I must say I get more distance than I had anticipated. Strikes dead center really do take off. If you are off the sweet spot expect some slight distance loss, just like any other club. When I do miss with this club it is a miss left. Putting the ball back in my stance a little and not being overly aggressive has prevented the pulls and hooks. Now that I am used to the club it goes dead straight. I chose the A7OS over the A7 as I preferred the ball flight on the OS. If you want to replace a 2I give this one some thought. Goes too far for me to say this is a 3I equivalent in my bag. Hit a poor drive and left myself 220 to the green. In the past this shot was a pain to nail. Pulled the A7OS out, put a nice smooth stroke on it, wound up 15 feet behind the pin. Great club from the tees when you gotta nail one down the middle.Read full review
I had never used a hybrid until a few weeks ago, when I took to the course with an Adams a7 OS senior flex 3 hybrid that I had won on eBay during the winter. I've always liked my long irons and hit them well, but quickly found that this hybrid was as long or longer than my 3 iron, and, most importantly, consistently straighter. That's why I bid on, and won, the Adams a7OS 4 and 5 hybrids. The morning after they arrived, I took them to the course. On the second fairway, I pulled out the 5 hybrid and put the ball right on the green, pin high. A few holes later, I did the same with the 4 hybrid. In both cases, three of my foursome were surprised: two guys who had played with me before,,,and ME! I can't speak tg other hybrids, but I have to say that these were the bomb, in every sense. Even for somebody who hits their long irons well, as I did, I recommend these particular Adams a7 OS hybrids. They're in for a surprise!Read full review
I had trouble with my titleist XL hybrid and even had one class with my golf instructor just for hybrid, still not great. Then I tried out my husband's Adams Idea a7OS hybrid, it feels much better already. So I decided to have the same one for woman. I got Adams Idea a7OS #4 hybrid and it is exactly what I need. The grip is nice and comfortable, head weight is just right lighter than my XL, and much easy to hit and far. It is rated #1 hybrid in the tour for a reason.
No other words to say it , but Adam's again great product. Standard stiff shaft I hit this for my 200 yard shot. Problem is the grip is way to small for the average man.
