Another great hybird from Mizuno!! I've been playing Mizunos for 8+ years and they just keep getting better and better! The MP CLK has a very nice mid ball flight. Hitting it off the ground is just like hitting it off a tee. You can work it both way with no problem or you can just hit it stright. Alot of golfers think Mizunos are for the better player but there wrong! I'm a 2, but I've let other golfers in my group hit it(and there anywhere from a 5 to 15) and they have no problems hitting or working it either way. If you can get one cheap...pick it up!! You will love it!!
Since I live in Texas I can play every day, so I do. I am about a 6 handicap. This is the first Mizuno hybrid I have tried, I bought it because I love my MP 60 irons. This MP CLK 23* is solid, straight, and easy to hit. It is so long that it is almost too damn long. Now I have to get the Mizuno 20*, because the 23* is as long as my 20* Nickent! I just wish Mizuno made a 26*. Awesome club.
Harder to hit than the baffler it replaced. the 84 fubuki is noticibly heavier than the aldila in the cobra. looks amazing at address. probably the nicest looking hybrid i have seen and when hit well it soars. once i get it dialed in it is sure to be a stock 210-215, straight, over the moon, out of the worst lies you can think of. but all that really sets it apart from the baffler is the look at adress and the feel; which is better except on miss hits which makes sense as this is more of a players club than the cobra. as for workability, when the day comes that i try to shape anything but a towering fade i will get back to you.
great club replaced my 3, 4 ,5 irons as I wasn't able to hit them with any consistency. easy to hit out of the rough or fairway, great club for the mid to high handicap player with the stock graphite shaft.
I love the smallish head size. It allows me to work the ball extremely well. I thought the high trajectory was going to be a problem but this club flies into a strong head wind with major distance. The feel could be slightly better but good for its performance.
