I'm from New Zealand, its very windy october thru january, our spring and early summer. As i tend to hit a high ball with every club, i was looking for a fairway metal that was light weight and would give me a lower trajectory to negate the wind factor. tried a friends 15 degree fl ultralite and liked the balance and feel off the club head, although ball flight was higher than what i was looking for. purchased the 13 degree low trajectory model and i'm absolutely delighted. I have found the below mid ball flight in a light weight club i've been looking for. Distance is not usually a problem for me apart from the previousiy mentioned windy conditions and our course is lush so u don't get much run most of the year. Hit some yellow balls with the 13 and white ones with my 15 degree. usual breezy day and i could see i was flying over the white balls with a straight unaffected flight as compared to the high fade of my titleist in the left to right breeze. Was amazed to see a 40 yard difference between the middling balls of each group. All in all an excellent golf club, nice stiff flex shaft, feels good in the hand and swings very easily. As i have big hands and like over size grips i will replace the standard grip, but thats all. anyone that likes light weight and dosen't want to overly feel the weight of the head thru the swing will love this club. Have just bought the 17 degree version too, there are times when u need to get the ball up quickly and high. This one fits my game perfectly. I play off 7 currently and these 2 fairways are making a positive and welcome benefit to my long game, cheers.Read full review
This is a great golf club. I had the 2005 Launchers but had switched to a 3 metal that had a deeper face - Callaway X. I never got used to the Callaway. So, I went back to the Cleveland and recently finished a vacation where I played 8 rounds in 11 days. Needless to say I used the new Cleveland often - both off the tee and on the fairway. The club has great feel, gets the ball up quick, great sound and better club head speed therefore distance - all as advertised and now proven to me in real time. I think there is something about this movement to "lighter" weight that is more than hype. No doubt - buy this club.
Having been already impressed with the driver I was looking forward to my new 5 wood. I wasn't disapointed whe way the club sits behind the ball builds confidence, hits out of the middle fly long and high while off centre hits still give good value (very forgiving). I did notice that the standard shaft is longer than I am used to so I just gripped down the shaft. Overall a very good fairway wood even though prices are not at the top end.
Club is everything I was looking for; good look, good feel and good price. Club was exactly as described and very pleased with the service (as usual) from Callaway.

The Cleveland Launcher FL Fairway wood, well it's ok but not good. From the tee, the fairway or the rough this club is forgiving but the ultra light shaft was not fun. The ultra light and personally I wish 3 woods were still at old standard length. I could not get used to the weight and my timing was sideways. The Cleveland Launcher DST is miles better than this one.
