I've been playing golf since 1986. I'm a 15 handicap. I can drive the ball all of 210 yards. I'm 65 years old. In the past 30 years I've gone through dozens of iron sets. Owned just about every brand. After all the trial and error I usually have to conclude that I'm a Ping guy. I hit those pretty good. But after hitting these clubs, I may not be a Ping guy any longer. I got the 4-GW set from Ksouth golf. Paid $308. Good price. Bought the matching sand wedge from RockBottom. I am amazed that these clubs seem to be perfect for me. My shot accuracy with every club is almost astonishing. I've gained at least 10% more distance with every club. The Mizuno True Temper 95 gram steel shafts, regular flex, is just perfect for my 82mph swing. I'm coming off a set of Callaway Big Berthas with graphite shafts, senior flex. I now realize that the shafts are too rubbery for me, I was spraying balls all over the fairways. Team these remarkable clubs up with a Volvik DS77 ball and I'm playing much better. And it happened instantly. I never before thought that equipment could have such a radical impact on my game. These clubs prove me wrong. Want to buy a set of Callaway Big Bertha's cheaply? Got to my auctions. Sonoma-Valley-TomRead full review

I’ve always hit stiff flex but got a ridiculous deal on brand new Reg Flex XP 95’s. I was concerned they would be too light but I was wrong. Also thought that the ball flight would be way too high but it’s perfect. I really don’t care if I’m hitting stiff or regs at this point as long as I can continue to hit shots like I did on the range! I’m only 34 and have an aggressive transition. These make me feel like I can slower my speed down and when hit flush they’re like butter. I seriously recommend.

Wow, what a nice set of clubs. Couldn't have asked for more as the look, feel and accuracy of these Mizuno clubs is beyond belief. Love them.

If you're like me, a former single digit handicap who doesn't have time to practice and only plays once a week. I went from a small profile forged club to these and the difference in distance and dispersion on strikes off center is amazing. That instills confidence, which has made a huge difference in my iron play! I also love the look and feel of these clubs. They are not quite as soft as some. But much better than cast clubs. Plus the fact that you can find such a premium club at this price is icing in the cake. I was worried that I would hit the XP95 shaft too high. But so far I have been very happy with the flight and workability of these.

I had been playing Mizuno's for many years. I tried The Adams Iron set. I liked them but I missed the feel of the Mizuno's. The Adams hit longer but it was more due to loft. So I went back to the forged feel of Mizuno's. I didn't even try them out. I have played with them for a month now and I am very happy with my decision to buy them. They are 5 yards short of the Adams but they are easier to hit and the feel is so much better. I am scoring better because they are more accurate. They have a very high ball flight but I needed that for approach shots into greens. The ball drops softly on the green with less roll out. I am a high handicapper. + or - 5 at 95 usually from the blues. Now that I have gotten used to the new yardages I have been shooting between 90 and 95. I am 67. One con is that it is hard to keep the ball low. Also because of the high flight hitting into a wind can be difficult. But I will live with that, it is Great to be playing forged Mizuno's again.Read full review
