I've owned dozens of Hogan clubs and this one is a winner. Much better feel and higher ball flight than the Edge CFT hybrids. The stock Aldila NVS orange shaft is very good, although I agree it plays a bit soft to flex. Normally I discount claims like that, but I tried a regular and really had to adjust my swing, too slow and smooth for my preference. I prefer to belt it. The stiff feels more like a regular, or actually like a Callaway Firm, and works better for me. If you have a classic tempo the regular might be ideal. The NVS is known for low kick point and high launch. At 6-4 I love the standard shaft length. I have the 14 degree 0 hybrid and it's great off the tee at 42.25 inches, an inch and 3/4 longer than my TaylorMade Rescue Mid 16 degree. The Hogan CFT Ti 17 degree 1 hybrid is also 42.25. Overall the Rescue Mid and CFT Ti are very similar, in appearance and performance. The CFT Ti probably plays more square, with less offset. I don't have the occasional snap hooks like with the Rescue Mid. One thing to watch for with this club: It wants to set open. If you place it on the ground before gripping, the toe will swing open to the right. And not a little bit. I have to make sure to keep it square and grip the club off the ground. The headcover is decent, albeit perhaps a bit snug. The joke, as I mentioned in the header, is an absurd cheap grip. It's like a thin piece of rubber designed to get the club out the door. I couldn't replace it fast enough. Within the past month these clubs are now being sold in high volume on ebay and good bargains are available, on new or used versions.Read full review
I wish hybrids had been invented 30 years ago! This one is so easy to hit and is the typical high-quality Ben Hogan product we expect.

I bought Ben Hogan irons and liked them, first BH-5 and then Edge Pros. I decided to try their driver and woods and liked them as well. I am a beginner and I can hit these clubs decently, when I am striking well. (I feel comfortable and confident with them anyway). So I decided to try the Hybrids to see if they were easier to hit than the long irons and they are.
