I've played two rounds with the HB3s & I have never hit so many greens in regulation. My previous set was Hibore XLIs 6 thru gw. This set is 4-pw & I am ordering the 3 iron and pulling my last hybrid out of my bag. The 4 iron is so easy to hit high and land soft. It is easy to judge the gaps between each iron. I switched from blades, which I had played with for 30 years, to Callaway Big Bertha for 6 years then to the Clevelands 4 years ago. I hit XLIs & HB3s 15 yards longer per iron. Maybe I should buy an extra set because I do not think I will ever find a set that works for me like the HB3s.
I played the Cleveland HiBore Xli irons for two years and loved them. These HB3 irons are even better. They have a high ball flight with little effort and may be a few yards longer. The balance and weight distribution seems to be even better leading to greater accuracy. I need a little more practice around the greens as my chipping has never been as good with the HiBore style compared to my previous PING G-10s.
Re - Cleveland HB3 Golf Clubs -- purchased because I thought they would give me more much needed distance -- at my age, (84) I seem to have lost a bunch --- wonder why?? At any rate -- I should know by now after playing the game for some 70 years that you can't buy a golf game ! While it was fun trying, I gave up and sold the entire set to a friend who is enjoying what they are doing for is game. I bought them for such a good price that I took a very small loss on the deal. My experience with E-Bay was outstanding and I'll continue to check for products that I may wish to purchase in the future.
Shiped fast, only took a couple of days. I've used these clubs approx. 10 to 12 times, just keep getting better with every round. I'm 57 years old, been golfing since 6 years of age, these clubs are buy far the best I've ever owned, and also the least costly. Love them , I will never go back to another club. The wiz.
All I can say is WOW! I really love these clubs. They have completely restored the confidence in my iron game. They are very forgiving for an aging 9 handicapper. Just got off the phone with a friend of mine who is a club pro (1 Hdcp.) and he loves his also. So these clubs are NOT just intended for higher handicap golfers.
