The G20 is 2 generations old at this time but I think it performs as good as any club on the market! The adjustability craze is way over rated as most average golfers have no clue how to properly adjust the club head. The G20 Stiff shaft that has a relatively high kick point is perfect for hard swingers with up to 100mph swing speeds. Its a great deal, so buy it!

I and several others tried the club. It appears the shaft was not set in the club head correctly .. ... perhaps the shaft needs to be spline aligned ? ... Not a playable club as is...

This is a great and solid driver! I am still a beginner and Bought this as a "lets see" driver and it quickly took over my tee box. The ping sounds amazing and you know it when you have good contact, you'll hear it and see it soar through the air. For being a beginner, I am at 95mph and using a Tour Flex shaft and making a solid 260yd drive. The more I play the further my ball is getting.
I hit a friend's G20 on the range, and loved the feel, sound, and distance. I have been hitting a Callaway 9.5* Stiff shaft, and bought a 12* Regular shaft based on a fitting and found that I have been hitting fairways more often, although I have lost a few yards with the higher loft angle. Nothing to do with the quality, fit, and feel of the club, however - I love the club.
For the price, it's tough to complain. I am a 9 handicap and i play often. My clubs were stolen, so I went cheap with my 3 wood and driver. I've been to club testing events and had the chance to compare against the latest clubs on the market. Cobra and the new Calloway Epic driver managed to clearly out perform this Ping, but compared to Taylormade, Nike, Adam's, Wilson, or Cleveland, the Ping managed to meet or beat the competition in both distance and accuracy. One complaint is the Ping alignment marker thing on the top of the club head. It just looks weird to me. Also, the shaft snapped like 6 months after I bought it. Ping fixed it for free, but the replacement shaft is obviously used and I'm not sure how long this one will last considering the signs of wear.
