Actually I got the b60 G5i. I play to an 8 handicap. This putter has helped me line up the ball so much better than the traditional heel-toe putter I was accustomed to using. I have rolled in more long puts on a consistent basis. There is something cool about rolling in 1 or 2 30 footers per round. The putter gets the ball rolling nicely especially on the long puts. The heavier weight also makes it so you don't feel like you really have to hit it hard to get it to the hole.
Excellent putter! Have used several putters with this style head, but the Ping is well balanced, has exceptional feel, and feedback. Far superior to the others. I reccomend it to anyone looking to improve thier putting. Its easy to align and is a mid-weighted club.
In my opinion, Ping putters are among the best balanced putters on the market. I owned a B60 prior to purchasing this B60i and loved it but deserted it for the softer feel of an Odyssey. With the B60i I've got the best of both worlds, a traditional design in a well balanced, quality putter with an excellent sight line and the soft feel I prefer.
From using the back to scoop up your ball on gimmes to amazing feel, touch, & playability on/around greens. High handicappers like myself can use it rather than a wedge off fringes too maintain control.
