After owning a Cleveland 900 series 56* wedge for many years and numerous hole outs and chips ins from pars to eagles, I decided it was time to purchase a new one. Not to mention that my grooves were so worn down the face looked more like a table top than a golf club. Without any hesitation I knew I was going to stick with the Cleveland brand. I decided to go with the CG16's yes that would be plural because this time around I bought the 54* and the 58*. I have been more than pleased with my purchase. The course I play on has has tight fairways so I went with the lesser bounce. If I had any negative to say about the performance of the clubs it would be I wish I had bought them sooner. I absolutely love the satin finish, the performance and the feel that the two wedges have offered me. My only hopes would be in the future when these wedges finally get that table top face (lol), I will enjoy the new product a.Read full review
it's a great club for the better golfer and mid handicapper. if your a beginner you might want to try a club with a bigger club-face just for confidence only.. if your a fan of the cg 15 model than you'll really like the cg 16. it has a bigger toe than the cg 15 for more forgiveness, but also looks better at address which gives off more confidence before you even swing. I'm all about filling confidence at address. i did not feel confidant with the cg 15. if it's your first time buying a cleveland wedge you won't regret it!!!!
i was in need of a new wedge and saw this one for sale, also knowing cleveland golfs rep for wedges i decided to bid on it, i won and have been using it in my game and am very happy. i have no complaints with it i believe it to be a quaility club. i beleive it to be one of the top wedges available it has the new grooves which doesn't spin the ball as much as the older models but i was aware of that when i purchased.
The CG16 is an older Cleveland wedge but I like the weight and bounce. It's a really nice sand wedge and 'getting out of trouble' wedge.

Cleveland wedges r the gold standard for me. Updating older wedges with worn groves I decided to buy the CG16. The feel is awesome and dead on with a good swing. For me bounce is vital to all my wedges. The CG series makes it clear on each club the loft and bounce. Also I found this wedge New at 1/2 the retail price.
