I never had an adjustable driver until this one. Have had it for a couple weeks and could not be happier with it. The weights are VERY EASY to adjust and very hard to lose, as they stay right in the Track-you just loosen them with the tool and slide them around the track to your liking. As soon as I adjust the weights I can definitely feel the difference during the swing. I've got it set right now for a medium to high flighted gentle fade and if I put a smooth swing on it, that's exactly how the ball flies. The white shaft is very sweet looking, as well. Mizuno has a real winner with this driver, and so do I now. Grab one of these if you have a handicap of 12-14 or below. My opinion.
Anyone who is a Mizuno fan will love this stick. Sets up nice and clean. Gives you a solid pop when you make contact and the ball just takes off. Love the Fubuki shaft - play it in the 3-wood and hybrids from Mizuno as well. It's not as metallic a feel as my R9 was...more of a deep thud with a confident boost of power off the face. Wont disappoint! The fast track system is not a gimmick either. Liked the feel and playability of this over the standard 630 driver.
This club is fantastic. This is the only time I have ever said this on a golf club review the only negative thing is I lost about 10 yards on my drive. However I hit the fairway or am just on the edge 75% of the time. It is so easy to control the ball with this club. You can hit a fade, power fade, draw or straight down the fairway. I would recommend this club to anyone who is an avid golfer. It is not a beginners club so beginners stay away it has a 1 degree opened face and is slice prone which is a weak area for beginners. Overall club 5 STARS. Great ebayer shipping was normal for ebay in my opinion slow but I am used to it! Thanks
I have tried a lot of drivers over the past several years and this is one of my favorites. It looks fantastic and sets up well at address. Powerful sound at impact with no pinging like most of todays drivers. Although Mizuno is best known for their impeccable irons, they had a winner with this driver and the first to recognize the benefits of adjustable head weights to alter loft and flight patterns. It has a boring and penetrating flight pattern with plenty of roll for extra distance. If you can find one in good condition, you will not be disappointed in the results. As good as and better than many of todays high dollar drivers. A rare find for a top quality driver.
Clean look. Square face at address, not closed like many modern clubs. Stock Fubuki shaft produces a beautiful mid -high trajectory. Super easy to move the weights. An awesome club. (Reviewed by a 2 handicap).
