I'm an avid golfer that happened to find a Hex Control laying along the fringe one day that was left for dead by a golfer on another hole; very bad hook. Shoot, I picked it up and gave it a try on the next hole. Off the tee, it was very impressive into the wind. It had great feel and a nice bite on the green. It doesn't have the greenside play of a Pro V1 or a Tour Preferred but I don't play like a pro (11 handicap). My strengths are my driving and putting, and this ball plays just like my Z-star. I truly cannot tell the difference aside from the Hex Control being a tad softer at impact. It's a great ball for a great price. The only place I've been able to locate them is here on ebay and I've purchased 96.

It appears to have been bleach washed and the emblems are very faint. Maybe it’s just perceptual but the ball does not have the feel I had with this ball previously.

These are great. Don’t understand any negative reviews bitching about scuff marks. If you’re buying used balls, scuff marks are not going to bother you. And it’s barely any marks on them regardless. Will be buying more once we lose them.
