My buddy was looking for a new driver and asked for my help in finding the right club to replace his much older Callaway. I’ve played a lot of golf with him and I am familiar with his swing tendencies. A senior golfer he is strong, but needs help getting the ball in the air on a good trajectory and keeping it in the fairways (he’s a slicer). I did my research and suggested the Black Aeroburner 12* driver with a senior shaft. He can still play a R-shaft, but he’s not the type to upgrade his driver every few years, so the senior shaft will serve him best through the years. He trusted my decision so I ordered it for him. We met at the course and I presented him with his new Diver and off to the first tee we went ( shortish driving range doesn’t allow drivers). Immediately he was very impressed with the design of the club and its appeal at address position. Like many of us he has a flawed swing, so the test was to see if his new Aeroburner would produce positive results. We’re very competitive and he’s always trying to keep up with me off the tee ( I’m fairly long off the tee for a senior golfer, recently switching from a Stiff to R-Shafts in my clubs), so he was a little concerned with the 12* loft affecting distance. But with his swing tendencies LOFT is his friend. The GOOD NEWS here, my buddy had his best driving day ever in my eyes. Better ball flight, longer carry and distance, less slice action and more fairways hit. And yes he hit some drives right up there with me that day. After the round my buddy was jazzed and looking forward to our next time out. I also played this Driver off of several tees and crushed it as well with favorable results, matching my current driver (TM Rocketball 9.5* RBZ Stage 2 Tour). Plus side... the lighter weight lends itself to faster swing speeds and the price ($90) for this brand new Driver was very reasonable. If you need help getting the ball in air, reducing slices or hooks and want more distance then this club would certainly help your game. Set your ego aside and choose the shaft and loft for your desired goals. Remember when correcting these swing issues... Loft is your Friend!Read full review

I am really enjoying the Taylormade club. I am getting used to what tee I need to use with it but I am striking the ball down the middle at least 90% of the time. Not a long hitter but getting better distance than my previous driver.

Replaced a 20 year driver. The longer shaft took time to adjust to. I am happy with the results
