Absolutely best Rangefinder I've ever tried. So easy to operate and the slope happens automatically. The side magnet is great for holding onto the cart. Used the finder on two rounds of golf since purchase, and it's very very accurate. Much better than the GPS system in the golf cart, and much more accurate than my playing partner who's using a watch rangefinder. Also, this finder is small to the hand and that makes it easy to hold; also very nice when it's cart path only and you can slip the finder into your pocket as you walk out to your ball with two clubs and choose which one based on distance. Five stars all the way!

I have found the Golf Pro XE to be very reliable and easy to use. Keeping a steady hand can be a challenge, but the XE locks on to flags easily. I also find the slope feature very helpful. I love the ability to attach it via the strong magnet to the cart making for quick access.

doesn't lock on and "jolt" as easily as the Tour 3 Jolt version I used previously...the new unit needs to be panned across the flag stick (from before the flag then to the flag) to consistently jolt...even the manufacturer states this is required in their FAQ...something about this unit sending out such a strong signal it needs better differentiation to jolt or lock on to the pin...so it needs two strong distance differentiated hits before it jolts....by panning it sees the background distance as being longer, then when you hit the flag, it sees that as being closer and internally it uses the differentiation factor of more distant reading to closer reading happening in quick succession to trigger the jolt or lock on process...I got used to the new requirement in less than 2 rounds of golf...not a big deal once you understand how to use the new technology differently than the earlier versions...a little bit of an extra effort required I guess.....but I love the slope and weather elements that only the XE provides...they work well! My guess is this unit is better for someone with steady hands due to the smooth panning now required versus the older Tour 3 version that immediately locked on to the pin with no panning required for me.Read full review

Best rangefinder on the market, period. Takes a little while to learn how to use it--shoot an object close to the flag so chip has time to record temps and barometric pressure, then ease over to the flag and it 'jolts' giving distance plus a slope correction. Incredibly accurate and compared it to my friends Bushnell Patriot pack range finder and up to 9 yds difference in the slope reading which is 1 club difference. It improved my game by 4 shots the first time out, shot 74 on a really hard par 72 course. Definitely attach an adddress lable (small) to the bottom over the label in case you leave it attached to the cart--it's black and most cart stanchions are black. I use this extensively, even more than my old one because it's 7X and has a really clear screen and magnification is outstanding. It's amazing the technology used in this and it does make a difference. I will never go back to a rangefinder without this technology, you get hooked on it.Read full review

This is my second Pro XE and I like it very much, it has a very clear view of the target, the magnetic bit I very secure, but it occasionally goes into a lockout mode where you shot the target and no reading comes up. This is the same issue I had with every Bushnell I’ve owned but 5 minutes later it operates perfectly.
