This item is a right-handed 34 1/2" hickory wedge. Made by Spalding for the PGA members to retail in their shops. It is their very heavy wide sole PGA Special Niblick. 56* loft and a G 4 swingweight. It will really bull doze a ball out of the sand. The head is clean and the chrome is good condition. It does have the expected minor play nicks and dings. Please lease look at all the zoom pictures to get a better idea of condition. The shaft an old hickory with intact butt cap. It is straight, crack free and is tight at the hosel. The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in good vintage condition. Great collectible or player.
If you are considering playing with this club all wooden shafted irons should be re-set prior to play. While I see no issues with the shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whippingbe added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage.These wooden shafts often have hidden defectsand are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee wooden shafts against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old wooden shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old wooden shafted wood with a hard range ball.

For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge. On top of that, and takes almost 15% of what I receive for shipping (out of $10 I receive $8.50) and I would like to break even. collects sales tax for many states. They charge me 15% for that service and I never see that money.
