Thisitem is a 4\" LEFT-HANDED original hickory shafted wood. Itis a Driver marked Comet Special on the crown. Nice sized head. Head isin good used vintage condition. Shows the expected play use and wear.Pleaselook atthe many zoom pictures to get a better idea of condition. Theshaft is the original hickory. Feels like a very stiff flex.It is straight andIsee no cracks. The grip is an old long leather wrap that is in good vintagecondition. 9* loft and an A 6 swingweight. Good Lefty woods are hard to find.
If you are considering playing with this club, while I see no issues with this shaft (other than those mentioned above), I suggest that whippingbe added just above the hosel to help prevent breakage.These old wooden shafts often have hidden defectsand are liable to break at any time. I do not guarantee wooden shafts or heads against breakage when put into play. Never hit an old wooden shafted club off a driving range mat. Never hit an old wooden shafted wood with a hard range ball.

For those of you that never ship but only receive items, the further you are from me in NC the more shipping will be. That is the way the carriers charge.
